Spruce Up's Gallery of Before and After Home Makeovers
Art Deco
This property was a pleasure to style. Unfortunately due to a technology malfunctions I don't have the before photos, but if I am able to recover them I shall put them up. I will try and describe it for you. The curtains throughout were mis-matched and at least 25 years old with flower and paisley style patterns with heavy jarrah wood pelmet boxes over the top. The carpets were worn and 25 years old and in the living area they had a heavy jarrah wall fixed book case with matching cabinet under neath. The bathrooms a very 70/80's but were in good condition. The client didn't want to renovate but wanted to maximise the sale as he was moving to a lifestyle village. The presale makeover was important to maximise the room sizes as they were very small and he didn't have the funds to hire or purchase new furniture. I assisted the client to de-clutter and tagged what to keep and use for final styling. Based on the limitations that I was faced with I believe the property presented well and the first home open 22 groups came through. Great success.
