Agents do their best to provide general advice and a reference to preparing your home for sale, as part of their marketing package. However this is very general advice in areas such as styling, garden, painting etc. It doesn't tell you what colour to paint, how best to style the home, what to de-clutter, what to furniture and accessory to keep and use for final styling, how best to present the room, should you change your curtains, blinds, flooring etc and if so what should you select.
There are so many things to consider when preparing your home that it is impossible for an agent to give you that detail as they are not property stylist.
Home Owners need to take the sale of their home seriously and get an assessment so you get the details you need to sucessfully prepare your home for sale.
